Dear Jamie-
You are entered under the name “Revolution” - someone else is “Rubber Soul.” You need to bring - drum sticks, guitars, and guitar cords, and everyone needs a ticket to get in. The contest is Sunday at 6:00 - You will be allowed to do 2 or 3 songs Meet at the Grand Ballroom on Sunday afternoon.

Notable:
-Gender identity was an important issue to me and my demanding 14 year old self.
-OF COURSE the band name Rubber Soul was already taken. It looks like they just assigned us Revolution, but I’m assuming there was a phone call to work out the details before this confirmation was sent.
-We performed “Bad Boy” and “Oh Darling!”
-For the record, we took second place after a run-off. We lost to reigning champs Glass Onion. They were really great. I got them to sign my White Album CD box.
-Our drummer Anthony was the son of celebrated record producer and musician Don Was of "Was (Not Was)” of Walk The Dinosaur fame.
-Michael and Gabe have gone on to have amazing careers as musicians. I went with comedy. I should have kept playing.
