On the evening of November 8th 2009, I had taken a drive to the local mountain range in search of a good place to set up for a series of photographic experiments including this 153 shot Star Lapse. (Only 5 seconds longs, sorry)
I used my 5D MKII with a Canon 17-40mm f/4.0 L-series lens. I also used a digital Remote Release set for 2 second intervals.
Shutter Speed: 20 seconds.
I went off road for a while on an old mountain trail for this one,... found a nice spot buried deep in the woods next to a stream and started my shots about 50 minutes after sunset.
There was still some residual light in the sky.
