On the 17 September 2013, The Asia Pacific Deign Library presented the first in the Think Outside Series.
Think Outside: Society, asked design thinkers to explore the question 'how might we design out homelessness?'
Homelessness is a complex issue, which encompasses many other societal problems such as unemployment, mental health, family breakdown and domestic violence. This complexity means there is no easy solution to homelessness.
The design thinkers making up the panel for this event were typographer and designer Catherine Griffiths (NZ), co-founder of Holloway Eyewear, Raffaele Persichetti, and QUT Associate Professor Dr Barbara Adkins.
