San Francisco Bay Area Key System - Historical Overview

This story on the forerunner of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) the government owned mass transit system of the San Francisco Bay Area originally aired in the 1980's on Oakland's KTVU Channel 2.

It is narrated by George Watson and points out that if a few relatively inexpensive upgrades had been made to the privately owned Key System, there would have been no need to build the massively expensive government owned BART system.
