As a 5th-generation farmer, Matt Russell has a long standing relationship with the climate. The unusual bouts of heavy rainfall this year left Matt and other Iowa farmers unable to work the fields, leaving hundreds of thousands of acres of crops unplanted. He wants congress to understand that with the right support, the American agricultural industry can be the perfect mechanism for solutions to climate change.
