The Almbach-Klamm - "Klamm" means a stony gap with a creek in it - is located to the German village of Marktschellenberg near Berchtesgaden. The canyon starts at the foothill of the Untersberg mountain and ends, where the Almbach flows into the Berchtesgadener Ache. The gap was formed after the last Ice Age 15000 years ago. It's possible to hike along the creek. The steep track is three kilometers long and was build by Bavarian soldiers in 1894.
