We had the pleasure meeting with Garrett and Nicole McNamara at the Surf- and Skatefilmfestival in Munich. Garrett, who surfed the biggest wave ever in Nazaré, Portugal, on January 28, 2013, derives his philosophy from big wave surfing. He shares his wisdom about our environment and about the oil drilling in the Canaries during a SUP tour we made in the South of Munich.
The Canaries are supported by the European Union as a model for sustainability, but Repsol, RWE and Woodside Australia are strarting highly risky oil drilling operations just 9km in front of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. To find out what's going on, you may check theVibes.tv (environment) and cleanoceanproject.org.

And don't forget to share the video and information. Mahalo.
