The 108 launch is both a daytime event and an evening concert at Rich Mix on Saturday October 19th celebrating independent cross discipline music, art, performance & film.
The day will be featuring talks, debates, screening & networking with artists, journalists, film makers & cross discipline organisations, including The Guardian, It’s Nice That, Songlines, Federation of British Artists, Mall Galleries, Music Tech Fest, Featured Artist Coalition, Huck Magazine & Resonance FM.
There will be a unique in conversation with session with Karl Hyde from Underworld.
This day is aimed at independent professionals, freelancers & students working in music, film, performance, digital, art & media & is an opportunity to come together, meet potential collaborators & improve creative & business practice.
The evening features a series of music, art & interactive performances, screenings & happenings from Gaynor O’Flynn & T.B.C (The Beinghuman Collective). With guests performances from artists in Gaynor’s 108 including Baluji Shrivastav (Massive Attack), Dave Randall ( Faithless) & Abioye Tom Green (The Orb) & Ethipia's Haymanot Tesfa, & DJ/ VJ sets from Radio 1’s Chris Coco, Phil Nicholas (The Garifuna Women’s Project) & Yotam Agam (Earthsynch India)...
