This videoblog demonstrates and explains how custom metadata fields written to audiofiles in a music composition environenment, can be used in combination with OSX spotlight technology (mdfind command basically) to call families of sounds with specific typomorphology. This was first implemented on my installation called 'Ho' back in 2008.
Although not covered in this videoblog, in the interactive installation called Ho, a sonic expedition to vietnam, such metadata is called from Blender 3D using python scritpts as the result of activation of game-engine properties such as collision, near, etc. while the user travels. Have fun! Ricardo Climent
