Keynote JoAnne Anton, Project Coordinator and Special Assistant to the President, Herb Kohl Enterprises

JoAnne Anton spent 19 years working as State Director for one of the longest sitting U.S. Senators in the
country, Herb Kohl. She served as the eyes and ears for Senator Kohl, led five statewide offices
delivering constituent service and advised on policy decisions. Prior to joining Senator Kohl's office, she
spent five years as Staff Assistant to former Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist where she worked on
economic development, health and education. Today, JoAnne can still be found working alongside
Senator Kohl as Project Coordinator and Special Assistant to the President of the Milwaukee Bucks. She
is also a serial entrepreneur, having started several restaurants and as the founder of a new small business
providing outdoor digital advertising. Proud to hail from Milwaukee and born first generation American
from immigrant roots, JoAnne holds a BA in Criminal Law Studies with a Minor in Classics from
Marquette University, and Masters of
Social Welfare from UWM. A committed member of
Milwaukee Downtown Rotary, JoAnne serves on the
Board of Safe and Sound Inc, and volunteers with many
other organizations. As someone who has always worked
behind the scenes in various roles, JoAnne will be front
and center with us to share her experience. Join us on

Kimberly Kane to discuss her past work from politics to
sports, and from business to family balance as well as
what the future holds for her in her new role.
