Ralph & Audrey Driscoll restore Antique Furniture and related items using the traditional techniques and materials of 18th & 19th century craftsmen. Audrey Driscoll is an interior design consultant specializing in the preservation of historic homes. Many of our jobs overlap to include both homes and the furniture in them. Ralph has restored projects for a number of the local museums when an authentic restoration is important to retaining the authenticity and value. High end finishes for fine furniture such as French Polishing are one our specialties. Many of the materials that we use are difficult to find and the techniques that we use belong to a dying art. Southern Louisiana is steeped in tradition and offers interesting projects in need of preservation that will become future segments of our documentary.
