January, 2012. After being sick for 20 days and spending one week in the hospital, I couldn't wait to get out of there and get back to the place I love the most, the river.
conditions were perfect and after gathering a the crew, we went to fire it up one of the most untouched canyons of Santa Catarina State in Brazil.
The Poncho River born at Serra do Tabuleiro, dropping almost 500 meters in a 13km stretch.. It took us 3 days to make it trough with some of the craziest and most exhausting portages I've ever done. The unique bedrock and many waterfalls/slides made this trip and unforgettable experience.
Thanks to the guys in the river, to Freeky, Freestyle Watches and specially TAC MOTORS for sponsoring me.
