Lecture on the language of information graphics for soccer goals by José Marconi Souza and Ricardo Cunha Lima at 6th Information Design International Conference [CIDI 2013]. In the lecture, the graphic representation of brazilian soccer goals are analyzed using theories of information graphics and graphic language.
The iconic goal by Carlos Aberto, from the 1970 World Cup and known as the "perfect goal", is the focus of the analysis.
This lecture was presented twice, this is the second one where we decided to do it in english because many of the spectators were not brazilians. The person who asks a question at the end of presentation is Jorge Frascara.
