Clash / Blend @ Aggregate Festival 2022

Clash / Blend is a visual music installation which takes over the pipe organ at the Kapelle der Versöhnung in Berlin. This exhibit has been part of 2022 edition of the "Aggregate - New Works for Automated Pipe Organs" festival program.

Aligned with the Color Organ tradition, this installation deploys a video-projected visual canvas on the walls of the chapel. A stream of geometries scroll towards the organ, only to be transformed into music when this drawings hit the organ position. Due to its generative nature, this graphic scores -and the sounds they produce- will never repeat again.

This installation has been developed using Processing (for realtime image generation) and Max/MSP (for MIDI translation of images).
