"Tarndanya AR" Concept - an Aboriginal (Kaurna) Cultural journey of Adelaide CBD - the Red Kangaroo Place.
* WARNING : Please be aware that the central character in this video, Stephen Goldsmith, has passed away.
This AR CONCEPT (hopefully one day will be commissioned) is an insightful cultural journey that physically and spiritually immerses people in the environment, sights, sounds, smells and stories of Tarndanya, the Red Kangaroo place (Adelaide). In the heart of Adelaide, users follow a specific route (on foot and free city bus), and experience stories embeded in the land, triggered by geo markers, smart phone and tablet.
Concept Project Development / Digital 360 Lab SAFC and Screen Australia. In 2014, with the assistance of Screen Australia, the Tarndanya team participated in the South Australian Film Corporation’s Digital 360 Lab Initiative. An amazing 6 months intensive mixed media training where we developed our skills and project concept. The initiative also funded the production of this concept video.
