SEED is created as part of an ongoing research on the effect of Mediated Reality on user and user’s interaction with the built environment. It aims to investigate the limits of human bearability to technological prostheses. SEED speculates on a future where embedded prosthesis forms a symbiotic relationship with the user’s body, taking on the DNA and characteristics of the user through prolonged period of growth and interaction. The advertisements and narrative seeks to illustrate how packaging could influence consumers into desiring for such an invasive device.
