During the month of August, 2013 the Haltom City Public Library hosted a display of 46 photographs taken by the Swartz Brothers.
Referred to as "Tarrant County's First Family of Photographers", The Swartz Brothers—David, John, and Charles—arrived in Tarrant County in the mid-1880s. Over the next 30 years, they observed Fort Worth through the lens of a camera, creating thousands of photographs.
The exhibit was assembled by historian Dr. Richard F. Selcer and genealogist Donna Donnell.
