Purpose: To move shoulder into full flexion without using muscles of the shoulder or arm.
1. Rest arms on table in front
2. Hands may be placed palms up or down. For stretching of specific muscles palms up is preferred.
3. Slide buttocks or roll chair away from table placing head between arms.
4. Hold for 30 seconds or exhale into stretch holding 2 seconds repeating 10 times.
*Do not push through pain or restriction.
