Pilots in cockpit practicing aerial maneuvers imaged with an ultra wide no distortion SY125 lens using Theia's patented Linear Optical Technology® which is a line of ultra wide angle, no distortion rectilinear lenses. Theia's patented Linear Optical Technology® lenses remove barrel distortion optically without distortion correction software or its inherent latency - vital to real-time imaging applications such as factory automation, robotics, and situational awareness in UAV's. The lenses provide up to 135° with less than 1% distortion, improving object detection and identification capabilities important in video surveillance, monitoring, and security applications.

Theia has 4 families of lenses using this technology from 1/1.8” and smaller, 200+ lp/mm resolution and excellent NIR correction, in a variety of irises and mounts:

• Theia's widest lens, the MY125 with 1.3mm focal length provides up to 135° Horizontal Field of View, 200 lp/mm resolution, in visible only, for up to 1/2.5” sensors in C mount; also available in CS mount (SY125).

• The MY110 1.7mm focal length lens provides up to 120° Horizontal Field of View, 160 lp/mm resolution, is NIR corrected from 435 – 940nm, for up to 1/2.5” sensors. Offered with Manual Iris in C mount. Also available in DC Auto Iris and CS mount (SY110).

• The varifocal lens, ML183 with 1.8-3mm focal range provides up to 116° Horizontal Field of View, 200lp/mm resolution, is NIR corrected from 435 – 940nm, for sensors up to 1/2.3”. These are offered with Manual iris or DC Auto iris and C mount. Also available in CS mount version (SL183).

• The MY23F 2.2mm fixed focal length lens provides up to 116° Horizontal Field of View, 200lp/mm resolution, is NIR corrected from 435 – 940nm and works for sensors up to 1/1.8”. Currently available in a combination C/M12 mount.
