Good Video played at the first Edmonton Short Film Festival.
An independent Edmonton video store is a treasure trove of obscure films and hard-to-find classics. Unfortunately, in a world dominated by Netflix and iTunes, business is slowing, and perhaps dying completely. Just as the owner is being forced to shut down, a new generation of cinephiles discovers his incredible collection of films, and shows him a new way to keep sharing his love of movies.
Filmed on location at Edmonton's own Videodrome video store, this short features an all-Edmonton cast and crew. It describes the challenges small business face, even in a diverse city, and showcases the community spirit Edmontonians use to keep the arts creative initiatives alive.
