My little film made during the 2-day Philip Bloom workshop in Tallinn, October 2013.
Canon 24-70 ƒ2.8L
Participants were challenged to conceive and shoot a 30 second short in two and a half hours, edit it overnight and present it to the class the following morning.
What did I learn by doing this exercise? It's great to challenge yourself and it's important to impose a time limit. Patterned table cloths don't play nice with the aliasing issues on the 60D. Make sure your actors are all facing the right way. Clean your set. Get a manicure. I can't count stop counting at thirty. And sound is way harder than I thought.
Titles added and sound timing adjusted after presenting it to the class.
