A machine that moves against the wind, stubborn and determined slow but steady on the power of the wind itself. When the wind turns the machine will turn too as to always ride with its nose towards the wind. The Wind Traveler is a portrait of any one of us. In this portrait wind is the metaphor of the forces outside our control that sometimes seem to turn against us. We can fight with these forces or get blown away by them. But we can also try to approach them with curiousity; confront them instead of avoid them; use them to help us get forward in life. This process takes time effort and patience but the outcome shall be graceful steady strong and mesmerising.
