Many cultures believe that when taking a photograph a piece of the sitter's soul becomes concealed in the image. But that's just old superstition, or is it?

Artist & Photographer Lukas Renlund visited London, one of the most surveilled cities in the world, with his interactive art exhibition "Steal My Photograph!" (SMP) to give this statement the benefit of the doubt. Londoners were invited part-take in a very different kind of art exhibition. Photographs will be up for grabs in return for a small piece of our Art Thieves identities - a tradeoff most of us are all too comfortable to make in our increasingly digitised lives.
