Damien Brown, a volunteer doctor with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), or Doctors Without Borders, gives Thomson Reuters Foundation his 10 tips for surviving an MSF posting.
Damien recently published his first book “Band-aid for a broken leg: being a doctor with no borders (and other ways to stay single)”. He kept writing a blog while working in various African countries during his posting with MSF, and was encouraged by his readers to write the book.
