We once drove through Joshua Tree National Park, but never stopped to see the wildflowers. This time we stopped to shoot the flowers. No one got hurt, except me. I was attacked by a giant cactus. I still have the thorn in my arm, ouch! I got to find my tweezers.
There were not a lot of wildflowers this time of year. I noticed the cactus were all scorched. Probably from the last fire we had out here several months ago. Very sad, however, the cactus still looked beautiful to me.
