I'll share how Facebook's research team uses a multi-method, multi-discipline approach that brings together qualitative and quantitative to design and improve products that 1.1 billion people use every month. I'll describe how the team works, present specific examples of recent projects, and discuss some of the challenges and thorny issues that Facebook faces.
