Peter Kim is a man that lives by the mantra “work hard, play hard.” He is an avid bicyclist, surfer, yoga enthusiast, and sushi connoisseur. Peter made his entrance into fashion in 1994, when he took control of his parents’ once thriving company, Protrend, and it went from $10 million dollars in debt and near bankruptcy to having all debts repaid and a complete turn-around by 2001. Peter launched his own premium denim line in the fall of 2002, and in 2013 merged with Joe's Jeans, a business deal worth approximately $97.6 million. Peter still remains CEO of Hudson, though, and the two brands remain distinct.
