Where am I? - Excerpt

This is a trailer of "Where am I?" a work in progress performance piece that looks at the problem of locating consciousness through a conversation between a dancer and a speaking space. This work was commissioned by dance digital and funded by Arts Council East and dance digital.

The work was conceived and directed by Marguerite Galizia. It is performed by Dan Watson. The app for the speaking space was written by Simon Katan and works with a kinect camera on mac. It is available for free via the following link: https://github.com/kimon-satan/danceTracker

The opening text is an adaptation of Daniel Dennett's philosophical fantasy: "Where am I?". The conversation questions are taken from Susan Blackmore's 'Conversations on Consciousness'.
