The VP of Marketing and Communication of Premium Blendhub, Patrick Berry, participated in the BeCreative conference on October 23, 2013. Berry was one of the 31 speakers invited to talk about creativity and innovation processes in businesses.
In a talk titled "Creativity in business strategy: changing an industry", the responsible of Marketing and Communications of Premium Blendhub chose two examples of innovation within the food industry, SMART powder blends and the open innovation platform Allfoodexperts, to show how such a traditional sector like this may be able to undertake disruptive innovation. Then, he presented his theory of “The Atom versus the Bit” and posed a question to the audience: What is the impact on the economy when those with more creative skills migrate form traditional businesses to digitals?
