“Silent Killer” is one of the four films produced during the project Silent at Heart.

Funded by an award from the Wellcome Trust and developed in collaboration with CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young, the Silent at Heart project's objective was to use art to raise awareness about Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) amongst young people and primary care professionals using an innovative approach of linking arts and biomedicine.

The film is about a group of young adults who are going through a set of health tests to assess their risk of heart conditions that affect young healthy people. One in the group refuses to be screened, and whilst receiving some subliminal messages from an old painting, starts to be haunted by a mysterious hooded creature... if only he'd remembered his own family history...
