Track Wiz is an ex-racehorse who failed on the flat and was then moved on to a 'career' in jumps racing.
However when he injured himself after a faulty jump, he was considered a financial burden to his owners and sent to the sale yards - where most horses are bought by kill buyers and sent to knackeries or abattoirs across Australia.
This is his story.
I edited this video for CPR's campaign to re-home horses who are no longer needed by the racing industry.
Thank you Kerreen Ely-Harper for your direction and getting me involved, Jordan Dowding and Christian Callaghan for shooting, and Elio Celotto, Ward Young and Georgie Georgie Purcell for all you do at the Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses, not only is it truly inspiring, but it's making a difference!
Thanks for watching!
