At the Toronto launch for the Al Purdy Anthology “And Left a Place To Stand” at Ellington’s Café, Mick Burrs reads Kent Bowman’s “Zen River Memories”. Unfortunately, Bowman has suffered a number of health issues, as host James Deahl interates, and we wish his speedy recovery. Ellington’s Café offered a great venue this event and our appreciation to Winston!
Zen River is Chris Faier’s beautiful retreat in Marmora where every August poets gather to celebrate Al Purdy and his works.
