Forza Win(ter) 2013 is the ultimate Italian woodfired-winter-feast. We've dropped the cheese, got a roof, four walls and our most awesome menu to date. Combining all of our projects so far - this one centres around Porchetta, but not just any old Porchetta, OH NO! This is reared by the Ginger Pig, tied by their butchers, then woodfired over Kentish Oak for four hours on our specially commissioned spit roasting grills.
For £35 (inc VAT) guests are treated to a hot cocktail on arrival, a blanket, and a seat at an enormous communal Winter Feast. Course 1 is Minestrone Soup - the most kick ass Minestrone soup you ever did try followed by a Winter salad (Kale, chestnut, anchovy and lemon dressing) and then the main event - A Porchetta served to every table, atop a bed of Polenta potatoes and rounded off with Poached Italian winter fruits and smoked mascarpone.
Post feast, we've got into bed (figuratively speaking) with Josh Flowers & The WIld, who are going to be putting on an extra special acoustic set for us all to work off some the meat too. There's a hot cocktail bar, awesome new Italian small grower wine list, and Moretti on tap until midnight.
