After a mountain bike accident in September 2012 left me with a few really bad injuries that interrupted my current active lifestyle I decided to pick up a nice dslr and figure out how to use it. Over the past year, despite requiring three surgeries and weeks of physical therapy, having to use crutches, canes, slings, and braces, I somehow managed to take nearly a hundred thousand photos and dozens of time-lapses. Many of these images and scenes were shot while recovering from knee and shoulder surgeries. I spent my downtime researching and learning on-line how to do these amazing things that cameras can do and I feel like I'm only getting started.

This edit contains ten-months of time-lapse photography. Locations in North Carolina include: Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Kings Mountain, the Outerbanks, Salvo, Rodanthe, Hatteras Island, the Pamlico Sound and of course our galaxy - the Milky Way.

Thanks so much to my parents, my sister A'me, and my fiance Heather. With out them, none of this would be possible. Music by Emancipator.
