Fun Mandarin Chinese for Kids. We start with an introduction of the body parts in Mandarin Chinese. Then, this popular American children's song is sung in Mandarin Chinese. Many people who have translated this song like to use easier words for things (for example for "mouth" they may use 口 kǒu instead of 嘴巴 zuǐ ba). Others may use 脚 (jiǎo) or "foot" instead of "脚趾" (jiǎo zhǐ) so that the syllables match what we have in English "toes". We elected to use what a child would normally use to say the word in spoken Chinese.
Also, there is a Chinese version of the song whose melody is a bit different. We chose to use the classic American version of the song. We hope you enjoy it. Let us know what else you'd like to see us produce!
