On Sept. 26, 2013, Wildwood’s middle and upper campus enjoyed its first student exhibit from senior Avery A.Titled “Hectic Sound”, Avery’s collection personifies the movement, chaos, and reverberating details that draw from everyday life. Using intricately woven ink, progressive figure sketches, and a poignant flair for geometric spatial organization on two-dimensional surfaces, “Hectic Sound” allows viewers to experience a sensory overload, without losing focus of the collection's overlying theme.Avery describes her exhibit as "...music in combination with the noises I hear around me and the noises of everyday life. It’s a kind of surround sound combined with the hectic things that happen inside my brain…and the way that I interpret them out of my head and onto a different surface.”
