One of the main purposes of this project was to create a live immersive experience for audiences, where both visuals and the music were performed live. In this video, it is possible to see the process I used to this end.
Meat Joy/Alegria de Carne is an abstract piece combining animation elements created through After Effects and a music compositional style akin to the neo-cumbia that is currently very popular in Latin America. Acapulco Space Station was intended to embody idealistic, futuristic ideas. In Meat Joy/Alegria de Carne, the vision expressed is that of a GM world were meat is joyful and enjoys dancing over a humanless world, possibly because humanity has also turned into this jolly dancing meat!
