STEFANO RICCI has written a new chapter in its story by presenting, in the interiors of a mega yacht, the home accessories of its Royal Suite Collection and the priceless fabrics of the Antico Setificio Fiorentino, at the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show.
A new partnership with the Mondo Marine shipyard for the mega yacht Nameless presented in world premiere at Monaco’s prestigious boat fair.
In this yacht’s interiors, one can strongly perceive the contrast between past and future, tradition and innovation, sporting spirit and elegance.
The exclusive fabrics were made on the antique hand-looms of the Antico Setificio Fiorentino, historical “workshop of wonders”, that is furnishing since 1786 the most prestigious residences in the world, thanks also to the famous warping machine based on a design by Leonardo da Vinci. Today, this history enters the yacht world at the highest level.
For this extraordinary project, fine Brocades and Damasks fabrics were chosen to adorn the yacht owner’s suite and the guests’ cabins, whilst the cushions and headboards were made using the Ermisino, a precious shimmering Renaissance taffeta. Never before it has been dared so much, giving space to colour, enhancing the most intimate interiors with refined shades of blue, green and red coral, typical of the sea but taken as inspiration from the most important historical paintings.
STEFANO RICCI’s Royal Suite Collection completes the yacht’s furnishings with its platinum decorated porcelain, precious silverware, elegant tableware sets, fine silk and cotton sheets and bathroom sets. High craftsmanship has merged with the most radical of the metiers d’art to make dazzling glasses decorated entirely by hand.
The combination between the modern lines, the predominance of white and the innovative materials, featuring the majestic richness of the Antico Setificio Fiorentino’s fabrics, have all been tastefully orchestrated by Yacht designer, Luca Dini.
The result crowns the second act of STEFANO RICCI’s Luxury Yacht Division in the YACHTING world, following last year’s presentation of its bespoke interiors for a 230 feet (72 meters) Super Yacht for the Benetti Custom line, part of the Benetti Design Innovation project.
