Sam, a timid, sharp and handsome painter, comes to NYC to visit his childhood friend Jack, who lives in a piecemeal loft in Morgantown. Having found himself deeply disenchanted with the real world after college, Sam is on a pilgrimage to find happiness and some sort of meaning in his young directionless life. Jack, an outgoing hedonist who scrapes by as a freelance graphic designer, lives life hard, fast, and carefree. Luckily for him, Jack has all of the answers - or so he thinks. In any case, he definitely does have some shitty beer, a bag of decent pot, and the location of a pretty good slice of pizza. With humor and grit, the film follows Jack and Sam as they ramble, on the wings of Dionysus, through a wild night of debauchery, nostalgia, and self-discovery/obliteration throughout Morgantown.
