The son of two missionaries, Roosevelt High School student John Camacho grew up traveling the world with his parents and learning about the cultures of India, the Philippines, and different parts of Asia. Camacho also learned about the forms of strife people face there, such as poverty, hunger, and disease. After moving to Hawaii, John told his friends his stories, thus granting them a greater appreciation for things they take for granted. Students from Roosevelt High School brought you this story.
