Your picture will appear in both the graduation booklet and montage video. We need a high-resolution photo to make you look your best.
WHATS A HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTO you say?
This. Or this. But not this.
Cameras like this, or this, or even this will work great.
Webcams are great for Skyping, but lousy for graduation pictures.
As a last resort, you can use a smart phone, but make sure the image resolution is set to it’s maximum. Don’t use the email or social media settings. Those will produce a lo-res, pixely picture.
Unless you really know what you are doing, don’t alter the image in any way. Just send it right out of the camera. Don’t worry, we know how to use PhotoShop and will make you look good.
If you don’t have a camera of any kind and aren’t having your photo professionally done, consider asking a friend with a camera to help out.
Already have a picture and want to see if it’s a hi-rez photo? Just click it and view the info. below. If each dimension is 2000 or above, you’re good to go. If not, find a better picture.
If you want, you can submit an additional image just for the video montage. Feel free to be creative with this one. Landscape oriented photos work best, since that’s the shape of the screen.
Follow these steps and you’ll be sure to look great, both in the book and on the big screen.
