I've been obsessing over architectural representation for a while now (um, Space Rocks?) and this is something I've been meaning to do for a good part of that. It's a first animation test of a camera that smoothly transitions from orthographic to perspective and then back to orthographic. What I like is that it gives me a method of explaining things in elevation or section and then also in perspective without resorting to multiple pieces of content. As you may guess the conflation between the two modes, ortho/intellectual and perspective/experiental, is also a key motivator. It's not perfect. If you look closely you will see some small slivers of orange when it should be all blue and vice versa. But it's close enough for now. Or, as I have grown fond of saying, "it's good enough for government work."
