A caring establishment full of fun times and awesome rides, the Haku Baldwin Center's Riding Program helps students with special needs interact with amazing animals. Founder Harriet "Haku" Baldwin had a dream of horses helping children with special needs through therapeutic horse riding, and today her dream is a reality. With obstacle courses for the horses and large, outdoor arenas, the program has brought a new form excitement and fun to the students who visit the center. Although Baldwin has passed on, the members of the Riding Program continue to reach out to the community and keep her dream alive. This story was told by students from King Kekaulike High School.
