This video was created as part of the special digital storytelling project Life at Byron: conversations with the elders, facilitated through the Byron Community Centre's healthy aging program funded by the Australian Federal Government.
Earlier this year the Byron Community Centre invited ABC Open North Coast (open.abc.net.au/openregions/nsw-north-coast-68Iq8Lr) to share in a digital storytelling adventure.
They wanted to use story as a catalyst to bring a community of young and elderly people together for the project "Life of Byron: conversations with the elders".
The goal is to create a platform for sharing wisdom and promoting positive images of growing older in the Byron Shire on the North Coast of NSW.
