Two young girls, Heng Yu and her older sister, Ting-ting, have Leber Congenital Amaurosis, a rare and severe visual impairment. They have travelled with their father, a farmer, more than 11,000 kilometers from their home in rural China, a home that held dim prospects for education, employment, family, and that they had never left until coming to Montreal to participate in a clinical trial that could change their lives. Max Aguilera-Hellweg, Supervising Director (directed offsite), Editor. Produced and Written by Tad Heitman.
