Placed within the setting of a backstage, 'The infinitesimal distance between two bodies' is a study that looks at two dancers as they warm-up, rehearse and prepare to go onstage. It explores their relationship as dancers in labour and as bodies attempting to get close. How close can the two bodies really get? What separates them? What draws them towards each other? Can they become 'one'?
This work hopes to invite the audience to re-imagine dance as potentiality in a continuous process of forming and transforming, as we come in contact with and relate to bodies outside of our own.
