A couple of friends and I had a day off from work, and decided to treat ourselves to a drive towards Bahrija in the limits of Rabat.
As we drove, I kept getting the itch to capture the moments on video. I realised, as I sat there watching fields roll past my window how much of a compulsion visual media has become for me over the years: when I’m not actually taking photos, I’m thinking about what I’ll shoot next. Every adventure is the next possible story.
Rabbit Hole is a short film, about a group of friends and how they spend their free time together. In a way, the Rabbit Hole is a metaphor for the conceptual path which is thought to lead to the true nature of reality. It is our way of escaping the mundane routine, and the choices handed down to us by life as we know it.
