Every moment is a time to give thanksgiving to God. In America, our pilgrim forefathers landed in Plymouth in dire circumstances. As a matter of fact half of them died in the first winter. Despite hardship, they still gave thanks to God for his mercies. As a result of their resilience, and God's gracious providence, every year we celebrate Thanksgiving. It is a national holiday, but it is much more than that for the people of God. It surrounds praise to God as his covenant people.
