On 10.24.12, Timberland celebrated the worldwide release of Timberland World Hiker (c. 1994) as a part of its Timberland 40th Anniversary Campaign at the MAJOR Showroom in Washington DC. The evening's music was provided by none other than a Timberland connoisseur and the Brooklyn's Finest, DJ Clark Kent. Guests included celebrity blogger and Timberland/Polo historian, Dallas Penn, Washington Redskins' Wide Receiver Josh Morgan, and WPGC's DJ Heat. Guests were able to try on and pre-buy the Timberland World Hiker, as well as the Super 6" Butter Boot from MAJOR, and DJ Clark Kent autographed boot boxes, and caps throughout the night.
Customers were treated to Georgetown Cupcakes w/ Timberland Boot decorations, along with MAJOR and DJ Clark Kent logos, free drinks from Red Bull, and food from Mr. Miyagi's Japanese Mexican Mobile Truck.
