Jeremy Fish: Weathering the Storm
On display through January 17, 2010
In his first museum exhibition, San Francisco-based artist Jeremy Fish has transformed the Museum's upstairs galleries with an installation featuring symbols and characters that he has been developing over the last ten years. Fish's iconography consists of a fairy tale world he has developed in part as a response to the influence that popular culture, cartooning, and literature (like the Brothers Grimm) has had on him.
Jeremy Fish: Weathering the Storm draws from our current economic and political events and explores its impact on us socially and emotionally.
